Vince Kuna, CSC
Santa Monica - Charter Member - Family Theater Productions
As producer-at-large of Family Theater Productions, Rev. Vince Kuna, CSC, works in development and on Hollywood outreach while writing critical essays, often focusing on the art of adapting screenplays from other forms of fiction. Catholic Film Critics welcomed him as a charter member in 2020.
Kuna has served as a consultant and producer on many films, including Barnyard Slop Trough, Iron Sky: The Coming Race, Worn Shoes, The Best and the Loneliest Days, The Silent Scream, and Beads. He is a member of Film Independent, IDA Documentary Association, SCA Network at the University of Southern California, and the American Film Institute. Kuna is one of the spiritual chaplains for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Before joining Family Theater Productions, he taught film production to undergraduate students at the University of Notre Dame. There Kuna received a master’s degree in divinity and bachelor’s in business administration, while he opted for the University of Southern California for his master’s of fine arts in film and television.
He is a priest-in-residence at St. Monica’s Catholic Church in Santa Monica, Calif. He also teaches film and media and assists with campus ministry at St. Monica’s High School.
